LOAR Summer Celebration at the Oasis

Join us for a memorable evening of connection, recognition, and community at one of Austin’s most iconic venues —The Oasis Brewing Company— as LOAR hosts the 2025 LOAR Summer Celebration. This special event centers on our mission to champion future women leaders through the SOAR Scholarship Program—set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Travis at sunset. We are honored to welcome Christina Perri for a private performance in celebration of our 2025–2026 SOAR Scholars. From chart-toppers like “A Thousand Years” to “Jar of Hearts,” Christina’s heartfelt voice and soulful lyrics have moved millions—and now, she’ll be taking the stage just for us.

The highlight of our evening is the SOAR Scholar Reception—an elegant, adults-only gathering to honor the inspiring women selected as our 2025–2026 SOAR Scholars.

Join us for an elevated evening of:

Dinner and hosted bar
DJ-curated music under the setting sun
A live artist painting watercolor portraits for guests
Time to connect with fellow professionals, advocates, and community leaders

There is no formal program or fundraising—just a brief, heartfelt introduction to this year’s scholars. These remarkable women have overcome adversity or are the first in their families to attend college. Through SOAR, they receive scholarships, mentorship, and the support they need to thrive.

Your presence is more than a celebration—it’s a show of support, belief, and encouragement for the next generation of leaders.

4:00 – 7:00 PM | LOAR Summer Block Party

Location: 2nd Floor Boardwalk

Before the reception, guests are invited to stop by our family-friendly Block Party on the second-floor boardwalk—a lively, come-as-you-are community gathering perfect for those bringing kids or wanting to start the celebration early.

Delicious food and non-alcoholic drinks (provided by LOAR)
Sweet treats and snack stations
Arcade-style games, boardwalk activities, and kid-friendly fun

📚 Spark a Love of Reading

As part of the Block Party, we invite guests to bring a new or gently used children’s book to support early literacy programs benefiting young readers in underserved Austin communities.
