The SOAR Scholars
Meet the students whose drive, resilience, and ambition represent the future SOAR exists to support.

Two pathways. One mission: expanding opportunity.
SOAR supports students pursuing college degrees, graduate education, skilled trades, technical certifications, apprenticeships, and applied career training.
Beginning with the 2026 academic year, LOAR PLLC is investing $200,000 annually to support the next generation — $100,000 for college and $100,000 for skilled trades.
Talent is everywhere. Opportunity is not.
SOAR exists to open doors for students with drive, ambition, and potential — especially first-generation students and those navigating financial barriers.
“Over the years, I’ve met so many students with incredible drive — students who were first in their families
to pursue education, students working jobs while studying, students told they had to follow a single path
to be successful.
SOAR exists to open doors — especially for first-generation students and those navigating financial barriers.
Whether someone is building expertise in a classroom or through hands-on training, we want to support them
and ensure they feel empowered to succeed.”
The future of work does not follow one path.
SOAR invests equally in college education and skills-based careers. Both build leadership. Both strengthen communities. Both deserve recognition and support.
